I am a military spouse. Being a military spousehas its own set of joys and problems. Some of the positives are good healthcare, steady pay for our spouses and appreciation from the community. For the most part, people think that the fact that we have to move once every couple of years is a negative. I have gotten so used to moving all the time that moving locations doesn’t really bother me anymore. I have started to see the moves as a new adventure, and appreciate that I am getting the opportunity to learn so much and meet so many different kinds of people. The one thing that does bother me about moving is that it has been difficult for me to cultivate a good career. Because of this I have started my own business from home, which means that my internet connection is really important. That’s why I’m happy that the clear coverage map pretty much covers every city I will live in while my husband is in the Army. It’s nice to know that there is at least one thing I can depend on!
